Remember on the 912 that the thrust bearings are mounted perpendicular to the plane of the blade so that the blade rides on the side or shoulder of the outer ring. The result is that, of the bearings I’ve found so far, the shoulder is not of a sufficient width to allow the blade to ride securely on it. The camphor between the shoulder and the outside is so pronounced that the blade just slides off the shoulder, whereas on the original bearings, the camphor is very small and sharp, allowing for a wider shoulder.
I have collected this information for many years and have found the information they contain to be priceless in using and setting up the machines properly. I believe this manual will be a valuable resource of knowledge that will provide a lot of helpful information that is often hard to find.
