After a year of using my friends’ Ryobi drills, I made the decision to purchase my own cordless drill of my own. When I opened the cheap hard case, I noticed a lot of dust, hair, and other debris in the case, as well as some minor scuffs on the drill, which immediately convinced me that I had purchased this at a garage sale. I picked up the very light drill, which felt more like a toy in my hands, put the battery in it, and started it. The spark show (as seen in the video) immediately piqued my interest. When I went to charge the battery, the power brick that was plugged into the wall became extremely hot to the touch after ten minutes. I’m not sure how long this garbage will last or if it will cause a fire to break out. The socket connections aren’t nearly as secure as I would have hoped for them to be. In exchange for $50, I would expect a much higher level of build quality and for it not to appear pre-used right out of the box. Overall, it performs as advertised..at least for the time being.
