As work pieces get bigger like your 6×6″ box or even solid for that matter then i would be expecting a bit more variance, maybe 1/32. “Thats a good saw, properly set running a good blade though. As blades wear they do wander a bit more, but it really is time to change it way before it gets to 1/8″ in taper of the cut! You need a good rule or taper measure before you can hit the capabilities of a good band saw, cheap tapes with bent hooks and the conversation then should be turning to measuring equipment not sawing as the cause of issues! As Mark says ” KASTO ” are an high end German saw builder, they are in my opinion the ” Mercedes-Benz ” of saws.
