More info about best air compressor for tires reddit

Hi there, I’m looking for an air compressor for inflating my car tires, bike tires, footballs, soccer balls, volley balls, etc. I don’t own any tools that use compressors, and I honestly don’t really know what other uses might even be…. I’d really love to stay under $100, but I have no clue whether that’s a reasonable expectation.

A small air compressor can be purchased for under $100. You can use it primarily to keep your car tires properly inflated. After encountering my first $1 air compressor to fill up my tires the other day, I went to Home Depot and bought a small compressor for $100. It also included as a kit two nail guns, so I have a couple new toys to boot. Edit: My Dad gave me an air hose and fittings I needed that were not included with the compressor.

“My dad wants a portable air compressor for Christmas and wanted to ask for your recommendations. I have an older MV50 superflow but that’s probably overkill for his needs. He just wants to inflate his stock 20” wheels. I was thinking about a Viair 85P or 88P but the quality of the Viair seems suspect at best.

Looking for an air compressor for filling heavy-duty truck tires, specifically Wild Country Radial TXR tires. I’ve been looking at the entry-level portable compressors, Makita AC001, BOSTITCH CAP1512, DEWALT D55140, etc. I don’t know much about compressors, so looking for suggestions!

Hi Fam! I have a 2004 4winds majestic and I am trying to find the best 12v air compressor that can inflate the LT tires to correct operation pressure. Goal is something that is not going to overheat and can inflate the tires with power from the battery.
