When I used to use this tool, the thickness was about the same as the old one. It’s a little longer. Has a lot more weight to it, but is still well-balanced. Getting used to it didn’t take long. Has a light as well, but it isn’t as bright as the old tool, which was too bright for me to use. A lot easier for me to hold and grip, but I have a lot of space in my hands. after being turned on and off. The speed doesn’t change. The speed control is on the bottom of the dial. It doesn’t move, but it clicks. With the price and performance, I can live with the fact that I have to charge it with a USB cord.
When I used it every day for a month, the switch didn’t work right. I have to push the power button a few times to get it to start up again. Good when I can start it. Rating: I took a star off of it. Even Dremel can’t live that long.
