Buy Jig Saw, Tool Only, BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX* (BDCJS20B)

Cordless jigsaws have a variable speed trigger for more control.

Jig saws don’t need tools to change blades.

For cutting at an angle in both directions, the jigsaw tool has a 45-degree bevel shoe that can fit.

It comes with a built-in dust blower.

Wire guards give you a clear line of sight.

It can use both U and T shank blades.

A good tool for detailed cuts, precision cuts, cutting along curved lines, and cutting with a plunge cut is this.

Chopping versatility and a small size all in one. An electric jig saw with a powerful motor that runs at 2500 rpm. There is no need to use tools to change the blade. A built-in dust blower and a clear line of sight make it easy to cut small parts. The BLACK+DECKER jigsaw is great for making small, precise cuts in a wide range of materials.

My corded jigsaw broke down and I had to throw it away. OK, I have had it for about 25 years and it was simple. It couldn’t make beveled cuts. Because I already own three BD 20V tools and have been very happy with them, I bought this one. I didn’t expect this thing to be so heavy without the battery, but it was. By the way, it doesn’t come with a battery, even though it says it does. I have three other 20V batteries, so it’s not that big of a deal to me. It has a quick-release lever that lets you move the blades without having to use a tool. It works great with the Bosch T-shaped knives I have. There are some things I don’t like about this unit.

Cons: It takes a hex key to loosen the shoe so that you can angle the shoe. The hex key is on the board, but it’s hard to get it out. People with weak hands might need a screwdriver to get it out. A flip top lid could have been built into the handle to store your blades. Small magnets are being used to keep my blades in place on the inside of my shoe. Even if I move the machine around a lot, the magnet still holds on to two blades. 3rd and 4th blades will come off with low-speed shaking. A bigger magnet or a second one on the same side or the other would probably be able to hold at least 4 blades.
