The media couldn’t be loaded because it was too big to move.

There was a video where the thing almost caught on fire while I was using it. I bought an Irwin blade for it, and the first cut I made was very precise. The laser worked well, and I was very happy with how it turned out. Not only does the blade that comes with it not cut straight, but it also gets hot and warps when it’s in use.

It was then that I bought this circular saw because I needed one to cut up a 3/4″ plywood floor so it could be taken up. It didn’t matter if the blade it came with was bad, so I used it for the demo work. Straight cuts didn’t matter. You’d think that this blade was terrible. It snagged, went all over the place when it came to straightness, and after about six cuts I started to smell something that smelt like burning plastic. Even if you just pulled the trigger on the bench, there was no wood. The blade would barely move even if you did. That’s why I took the blade off. I thought it might be stuck in the melting plastic, so I took it off. It didn’t work that way. The motor couldn’t even move the spindle, and smoke was coming out of the area where the motor was. My video of that was sent back to everyone. I almost asked for a new blade. I think if I had never used the blade they gave me with it and only used it for one cut a day or twice a month or something, it might have lasted longer. When I looked at the prices, I decided that for 10 or 20 dollars more, I can get a real saw that works. Great!
