The sanding pad that this uses isn’t the standard 4″ size. I wish I had known this before I bought it. If you look on Amazon for more sanding pads, you’ll see that there aren’t any in that size. You can’t use the smaller, more common size of 3-1/8,” either. So you have to hope that a store near you has B&D branded 4″ pads, or order them from small online stores that don’t always have them. It’s also a lot more expensive to buy replacement pads from B&D. When I could find them, they cost about 3-4 times more. I only wanted to use this for sanding, but this is a deal breaker for me because of this.
