It’s also great for sanding, finishing, and getting rid of material. This handheld sander is powered by a rechargeable 20V MAX* battery that can be used again and again. It has a 12,000 opm motor that can quickly and efficiently remove materials like wood, paint, and stain. A big-project person should not use this sander. On big projects, you will need a lot of batteries. Even then, they won’t last very long, even if they are charged. The sanding project was too big for me to finish. I have three and I couldn’t get it done.
Is it because of that. I knew that the battery might be a problem when I bought it, but I tried it and I can say that the battery life is a problem. Because it’s still a great sander and a good addition to my shop tools, I gave it five stars. I will use it to finish work and do small tasks. It doesn’t hurt my arm when I’m sanding and it’s easy to hold in my hand. There are a lot of tools I’ve been buying from black and decker. The batteries are all the same. People who do woodwork for fun on the weekends like this kind of stuff, but I’m more of a pro. In the future, I’m sure I’ll have to look for something better, but for now, it works for me. To show you how much I was able to sand with 3 batteries in one day, I attached the pile of wood I’m working on. I used 80 grit paper to sand 8 48″ 2x2d and 8 25″ 2x2s with 8 batteries.
