If that’s what you need, this looked like a good unit. To get the one I was looking at, I went back and got the one I was looking at first. It can be plugged into the outlet in the garage. It also looks like the reviews and questions are for different models, so be careful. This model, the BDINF12C, says in the description that it only works with 12V. I was reading reviews about how great this was, and most of them talked about having multiple sources of power. It turns out that the reviews were not even for this model.
