I bought this because I couldn’t find the wrench for my DeWalt 4″ angle grinder, so I bought this. In order to buy this belt, I had to find one of the right size. It’s adjustable and should work with any brand.
There are two problems with this item.
Before anything else, the bolt that holds the two pieces together is way too long. If I didn’t cut it off close to the jaws, I wouldn’t be able to put it flat against the grinder’s nut.
Because the surface between the two parts of the jaws is smooth, it is very easy to loosen the locking nut bolt by pulling on the smaller jaw. You need to use pliers to tighten it if you want it to stay in one place long enough for it to do its job. A rough surface between the two halves would make it easier for me to change the width of the jaws without having to get my pliers out.
Other than that, the handle is strong and the coated handle is a nice touch and easy to grip.
I found the missing wrench the day after this one arrived, so don’t worry about that!
