I bought this mostly to make the edges of cabinet doors smoother. To route all four edges of a door without having to turn the door for each one, you need to move the bit off the base and not put it in the middle. It’s only possible to route the edge right in front of you. There is also a lot of chatter because of the low RPMs. This means that the bit doesn’t make a smooth edge. The black knob that changes the height is so small and pushed back that it makes it hard to change the height. I gave it back. It looked like a good idea at first, but when we tried it, the results were only average at best, not great. My tools are mostly made by Bosch. A great company with great tools. But I couldn’t live with this one, either.
