First, let me say that I love the Bosch 12v line and have almost everything on it. I also own a lot of m12 and Makita’s CXT line.

I have both of these omt’s, so I can compare them based on how I use them every day.

There were a lot of flaws in this tool’s design that I saw right away because I had a Fein multimaster that I didn’t like.

Like the Fein, the head is separate from the body. The head is attached to the body of the tool by four screws that are screwed into plastic. Over time, the screws will loosen and the head will start to come apart from the body. As the head is made of plastic, this will be almost impossible to fix and will result in the tool being put away.

Engineering in Germany isn’t the same as it was a few years ago.

In the past few years, I’ve seen a decline in the quality of their cars and other products that I’ve bought from them.

This is the main thing that people don’t like. They have to use a certain brand of blades that are expensive.

Having cheap blades that can be used for tasks that would break expensive blades is important for anyone who often uses multitools. To find a starlock to ois adapter I had to go on eBay and find one that was made in Russia. I bought it used.

Now, let’s talk about size.

Comparing it to my cxt and m12 tools, it’s big and heavy. It’s closer in size to my 18 volt OMT’s than it is to my cxt and M12. The power button is too small and difficult to use, and the tool doesn’t feel very comfortable in my hand.

Perhaps the most annoying thing about this is that the 18 v version has a great quick release system that this one doesn’t, even though it’s a lot bigger than the 18 v version.

As someone who is usually a big fan of Bosch tools, this one has really bothered me. Bosch needs to start including a factory OIS adapter with these tools out of respect for people who buy them from other people.

Only because it has a brushless motor did I give it one star instead of five.

I hope Bosch pays attention to how much people aren’t happy with this tool.

Starlock has been ripping off Bosch 12 volt users for a long time now, and it has made me think that the only reason for it is to take advantage of people who are willing to pay. I have had to use Makita 12 volt OMTS instead of this tool because it doesn’t have enough affordable blades for work that destroys any blade, which has made me think that starlock is only for people who are willing to pay.

Because of starlock I’m moving from Bosch to another platform. I’ve been using your tools for years.
