I bought this from Amazon after I tried to find one in my area. Nobody had any stock, and the delivery time was said to be 2-3 weeks, but no one had any. I got this delivered in two days for $35 less than what stores in my area said it would cost.

In the short time I’ve had to play around with it, it looks like a well-built and sturdy machine. It comes in a small plastic box that fits in the case of my hammer drill. During the tightening process, you can hear the chuck click. It seems to have a very strong hold on the bit. You need to pull the lower sleeve toward the drill to get the bit out of it. A key can then be used to open the chuck. The chuck can hold a drill bit with a 1/2″ shank. There’s a rubber cover to keep concrete dust from getting into the chuck of the drill. You can use the end of the chuck key to get the cover off if it gets in the way when you’re using bigger bits. It’s easy to put on and take off.

If you have an SDS Plus hammer drill, you almost need to get one of these to get the most out of your drill. It will let you use the odd assortment of bits you get, like the ones that come with tapcon screws, as well as let you use the drill for more difficult wood and steel drilling tasks.
