Because my dad used to use a Craftsman jigsaw, I bought this one. I hated having to use that old Craftsman saw. Try to cut while holding on to something that can break things. I thought that was what jigsaws were like because I thought that was what they were like. Was I wrong. You can cut butter with this. This saw is so good at cutting through 1/4-inch plywood and even 2×4 lumber that it makes me double-check to make sure I’m not cutting. It’s almost too simple.
It’s also a lot easier to use these T-shank blades than the old-style ones, and it’s much faster. There is one thing that I wish I had done sooner with this jigsaw: get one of them now.
The barrel grip is better for me because I have big hands. Then, I also thought that if I ever had to get my jigsaw into a small space, this would be a little easier to get into.
Oh, one more thing. The cord is long. I find that very useful.
