Some time ago, this saw came through UPS. I’ve used a lot of circular saws over the last 50 years, but this one ranks pretty high. Most of the time, it will be able to do what a good sidewinder can do, but it won’t always.

I have small to medium hands, so I have a hard time getting to the “safety button. I think I’ll try to turn it off with a small screw.
A few weeks ago I bought the Bosch 18-volt jig saw, Sawsall and now I have the circular saw, all of which use the same batteries. With corded tools, I might spend more time running a cord to the back fence or walking back and forth than I did cutting boards. I often find myself in a crawl space, an attic, or on top of a roof. Cordless is the best way for me to get around. There are many good brands, but I chose Bosch.
