The BOSCH JA1007 Dust Extraction Kit can be used with BOSCH JS470E and JS470EB Jig Saws. It can be used to collect and remove dust from the saws. This kit comes with a Clear Dust Hood (2605510293), a Dust Tube (2605730055), and a Vacuum Hose Adapter (VAC024).
The reason I like this tool is that it grinds well and picks up dust when used correctly.
My tool came with a Dry Diamond Cup Wheel that I used.
: How to use.
To get the most out of the GSC15’s dust collection, I did the following.
It’s time to relax.
Put yourself in a comfortable position that makes it easy for you to control the tool while still being relaxed. I used a 5-gallon bucket and turned it over. On top of the bucket, I put a folded towel that was a lot bigger than the bucket. My chest then went on top. In this position, I didn’t have to use any muscle power to keep grinding for a long time. Knee pads can help protect your knees.
Make sure you and your home are safe from concrete dust: Take these steps.
In order to protect myself and my home from my mistakes as a novice, I did the following. There are no more HVAC return registers that can be opened now. turned off my home’s AC and fan. When I was going to grind, I stapled polyethylene sheeting to every surface in the rooms I was going to be in. My full-face respirator was on me when I went outside.

I used the “OSHA Compliant Kit with HEPA Level Filtration and Cyclonic Dust Bags for Select 12 -16 Gal. Wet/Dry Shop Vacuums” set up on my Rigid dust extractor to get rid of the dirt and dust. :.
Connect the CSG15 Dust Extractor to the CSG15 to get rid of the dus.
I couldn’t find any source that said for sure what adapter would connect a CSG15 to a common Rigid wet/dry vacuum. Product pages on Home Depot, Amazon, and Bosch all talk about certain dimensions, instead of saying things like “The GSG15 can be connected to a Rigid vacuum using the XYZ adapter” or “The GSG15 can be connected to a Rigid vacuum using the XYZ adapter. Instead, each site talks about certain dimensions, but doesn’t bother to say where these dimensions come from (inside or outside diameter). At least, the 2-1/2″ to 1-7/8” adapter is the right size. It doesn’t work with Bosch. In this way, it is easy to have good dust extraction.
To start, connect the tool to your dust-collecting machine.
1. Sit down in a comfortable place. See above for more.
2. Slide the on-off switch to turn it on. Lock it in the on position. It’s on page 10 of the Operating and Safety Instructions that you should read.
It’s time to put the wheel down. The wheel is now spinning. As you hold it with both hands, slide it back and forth to keep the surface of it flat. For my job, I found that the CGS15 didn’t need much down pressure; I just gently tapped it back and forth. You might have to push down more if the concrete is hard or rough.
It’s important to check your wet/dry vacuum’s cyclonic dust bag every now and then to make sure it has not filled up with dust. Almost right away, you will know that the bag is full because the dust collection is suddenly going to be very bad.
People can use the GSC15 close to walls.
When you’re grinding at the edges of a wall, do this.
1. Turn off the CGS15. Slide the Guard Locking Device forward, then move the part of the guard that moves into place. It’s on page 10 of the Operating and Safety Instructions that you should read.
2. Start the CGS15. Place the part of the dust extraction guard that is now open down at the wall’s edge. Do not start far from the wall. CGS15’s grinding wheel should be lowered so that it’s nearly level with a wall’s edge.
3. With the GCS15 at the edge of the wall, move it to the right. This is the third step. It worked well for me if I always moved from left to right. If I moved in the other direction, more dust came out.
