There are two bases in this kit: a fixed base and a plunge base. The Bosch GKF125CEPK Colt 1.25 HP (max) variable-speed palm router is one of two tools that come with the kit. The GKF125CE has a palm-grip design with a soft grip. In total, it has 1.25 HP (max), which is enough power for most people. Far more than just a laminate trimmer, this tool is great for rounding over railings, mortising holes in hinges, making decorative edges, and more. It can also cut laminate. The motor has soft-start circuitry, a speed dial, and circuitry that always responds. It has a fixed base with macro- and micro-fine depth adjustments, as well as a round subbase that can be centered. With the precision centering design, the plunge base keeps the bit on the cut line. It also has a Spring-Lock plunge lever depth rod with fine adjustments. The quick-clamp system makes it easy for people to move the motor from one base to another. The kit comes with a Straight-Edge guide and a bag to carry it in.
The router looks like it was made well. I was reading the instructions manual to figure out how to use all of the parts in the kit and noticed that the adapter for the PR102 Edge Guide was not there. In this case, it is part number 600A00M4S (Adapter Kit | for GKF125CEPK. I know this because I called the Bosch store. Unfortunately for me, I live in the Caribbean. Even though I can buy from the Bosch Store on Amazon, I can’t get replacement parts from them because they don’t ship outside of the United States and Canada, even though I can buy from them. The tool comes in a plastic case that is sealed in a box. If the adapter isn’t there, it was never part of the kit, so you’re selling a product that doesn’t work with all of the parts that came with it.

Update: I looked at other reviews and saw that the missing part was hidden inside the moulded case. I took it out and shook it until it came out. So maybe they should tape the box of parts so it doesn’t get lost.
