They must all have a different router than me. This happens every time. I have to put it on the side and push it back up again. When you use a router table, you can’t change its fixed-base setting at all. I have to open up the table, push it up, and then lock it back in place. This takes a long time to get the right cut height. When the adjustment is locked, it’s hard to get the latch open so you can remove or change the router in the fixed base. Every time I use this tool, I wish I had never bought it. I bought it to replace a 25-year-old DeWalt that caught fire after almost every day of work.
