I preferred the Bosch edge guide to the two DeWalt edge guides, but I was concerned that it would not fit.
I looked here and on the Bosch website, but all I got was a message from Bosch Customer Service stating that it does not fit.
Contrary to popular belief, the RA1054 fits the DeWalt DW618 router perfectly.
In fact, because the DeWalt edge guides state that they “fit all DeWalt routers,” I expect the Bosch RA1054 edge guide to work with all DeWalt routers as well.
All you’ll need is an M6 thumbscrew to get started.
On Amazon, I found a lovely black thumbscrew for the fixed base (search for ASIN B07KVCKNG8) and a little larger one for the plunge base (search for ASIN B07KVCKNG8) (search for ASIN B075QBXGJM).
The red thumbscrew does not fit the fixed base since it contacts part of the base; however, the black thumbscrews come in packs of ten, so unless you’re insane like me and prefer the color red, you’ll have enough black for both bases.
