When deburring and chamfering openings to pre-drilled holes, the BOSCH counter-sink line is a great tool to have on hand. Excellent for electrical, plumbing, and heating and air conditioning contractors. Countersinks from BOSCH cut a wide range of materials cleanly and precisely. These countersinks perform admirably in even the most difficult materials, thanks to the use of standard high-speed steel and super hard titanium-coated bits.

In addition to digging up clay and driving ground rods and reinforcing bars into the ground, I also use large diameter masonry bits and core bits, all of which are provided by my Bosch SDS-Max rotary hammer. In order to bore smaller holes in concrete for the purpose of installing concrete anchors, I needed something smaller, lighter, and more maneuverable than what I had. What a difference this SDS-plus hammer makes in terms of efficiency. Using a high-quality masonry bit, I can drill four anchor holes in about a minute and a half. It’s a good thing, because I have about 400 of them to complete. In order for this drill to be effective, it must generate a significant amount of impact energy while not putting undue strain on my hands and arms. It is my only complaint that the depth gauge does not lock securely enough in place – it has a tendency to walk backwards, causing the holes to become progressively deeper as a result.
