I gave it two stars because it drives nails well with the standard contact arm. However, it doesn’t drive nails very well with a different contact arm.

Things that are not said: 23-degree nails are used to attach the metal connector to the wall.

You can buy 23-degree paper and wire-collated nails, but not plastic-collated nails. The paper or wire doesn’t work, and the nails aren’t strong enough to hold.

You can find 21-degree plastic collated, but the shortest is 2 3/8 inches, which is too long for hanging things on the wall.

Stanley/Bostitch was called several times, both the 800 number and the service centers, but no one could help me with them.

Bostitch doesn’t make 23 degree metal hanger nails. The manual says to use 23 degree metal hanger nails. Bostitch doesn’t make 23 degree metal hanger nails now or ever.

I don’t know how to make and sell a gun that your customers can’t get nails for.
