Purchased for the purpose of repairing my old camper trailer, which had factory staples that were 1″ wide and 5/8 long throughout. This item description states unequivocally that the shortest staple is 3/4″, but this is not the correct measurement. When the gun is received, it has a sticker on the staple magazine indicating that it will accept rounds as small as 5/8″. I’m not sure why it says 3/4 on the page. I almost didn’t buy it because I didn’t think I’d be able to make it work. Fortunately, it turned out to be a positive error. It has taken about 10-15 sleeves of Seneco 5/8″ staples to complete this project. There was not a single jam, and I was very pleased with that. Def has its uses, and when butt joining or fastening ply to substrates, it creates a strong connection that is difficult to break. Simply adjust the air pressure and depth to your liking. I would recommend this product.
