A spud wrench usually goes through 1 or 2 each year, whether I lose it or give one to a new person. About two years into my job, I got one of these and never used a socket wrench again (2013-present). There was a time when I used a brand called Scaffold builder that cost $60 to $70. They are good wrenches, but not for me. I bought one of these a few years ago, and I’ve never broken one. I pound it. I pray with it, and I make things very tight with it. The longer you keep it oiled, the better. I broke a Chinese one when I tried to pop a runner on the first pull. So I put the cal hawk through a lot of repetitions, and they are still strong today.
