I have two California Air Tools compressors that can’t be used anymore because their tanks have leaked.
The first compressor is a 6310 that I bought in September 2015. It started leaking in December 2016. As a replacement for the 10020C, I bought one in December 2016. It started to leak in June 2018. Welds that were put on the tank made it so that parts of them rusted right through. Neither of the two units had an automatic drain valve. They both ran inside in a climate-controlled environment and were only used for less than 20 hours a week to test medical rotary equipment. Poor welding and/or low-quality parts used by the manufacturer are to blame in my view.
