The CAT-10TL Air Compressor is equipped with an Oil-Free Dual Piston pump that is designed to have a life cycle before wear of 3000 hours or more, as opposed to other comparable air compressors that have life cycles of 500 hours or less. When used in a variety of temperatures and on uneven terrain, the Oil-Free pump is extremely versatile. However, it operates at a high temperature and can only be used continuously for 30-60 minutes before sustaining damage, a fact that is stated in the instruction manual but not advertised on the Amazon website. I purchased the 10TL in order to provide air assistance to a 36″x55″ laser cutting machine. Due to the fact that some of my cut patterns are extensive and take a long time to cut, this purchase was less than ideal. The lesson has been learned.
