I had been looking for a good CCT Retainer on Amazon for quite some time. I usually purchase from other websites that specialize in European Automobiles; however, their prices were usually prohibitively expensive for something I would only use once. I even saw one for $45 on another website.
Upon further investigation, I discovered that many of the options available on Amazon were not fulfilled by Amazon, which was exactly what I had been looking for to begin with. I wasn’t looking for anything particularly heavy-duty or long-lasting, but I finally came across this one for a reasonable price and with no reviews, so I decided to go ahead and buy it.
I was working on my 2002 Passat, and I needed to replace the Tensioner Gasket Kit. I received it a few days later, and it had been packaged in a plastic box that had been stapled shut.
At first glance, it appears to be of high quality and not too inexpensive.
Everything worked flawlessly when I used it a couple of days later; it held the tensioner in place, screwed on perfectly, and completed the job perfectly.
