Even though it was the first time I used an air hammer, it did an excellent job of knocking the rust off my 48″ mower deck when I installed a chisel. Never again, but keep in mind that a good-sized compressor is required to get this up and running properly. I believe the CFM rating is a bare minimum of 8, but in any case, my double tank California Airtools 4.6 gal was a no-go, but the 20gal Ramair was exactly what I was looking for.
