Buy CP717 Super Duty Air Hammer by Chicago Pneumatic

The most powerful CP air hammer for cars, trucks, and off-road equipment is the one with the most power.

Because the spool valve has a positive action trigger, you can get very precise control because you can move the valve.

1,800 blows a minute.

The piston from the manufacturer has a longer stroke and is stronger.

The Chicago Pneumatic Super-Duty Hammer is a powerful tool that can be used on cars, trucks, and off-road vehicles. It can be used to do things like remove king pins, install bulldozer walking beams, and remove truck springs and heavy-duty spring bushings. This air hammer is 9-3/4 inches long, weighs 4-3/4 pounds, and uses 3.13 CFM of air on average. It has 1,800 blows per minute. This tool also has a positive-action trigger for more precise control, as well as a 0.498-inch diameter chisel shank opening to handle the extra power that comes with the extra tool power.

This thing is powerful. In the past, I have been using the IR 122Max. I thought that was hard-hitting, but this CP717 makes the IR look like it’s choking to death. Because it is so strong, it can break itself apart. Everything that has threads needs to be checked from time to time, or parts will come off as you use the thing. This can’t be broken apart on its own.

It’s been 16 months since I bought this, and it’s starting to get worn down a little. In the beginning, I said that this thing shakes itself apart. I still think that. You might hear a cat purring because the trigger won’t fully shut off the pin, which keeps coming loose. It would fall apart every time my apprentice picked it up, but everyone else would be fine. It used to be easy to put back together, but you need to keep an eye on it.

It still hurts, though. In an industrial welding and repair shop, it’s used a lot. It’s sometimes used for an hour or two at a time.
