The new model Milwaukee saw uses one thumbscrew, & the old model uses two, so all three are included. I have owned both models, and the one with two thumbscrews works better. The new model I have now has the one thumbscrew that goes in at an angle & tends to turn the rip fence at an angle when tightened.

Is there a guide for a circular saw?

Why is the Milwaukee circular saw left-handed?

The placement of the cordless saw blade, on the left side, gives you a clearer line of sight when you cut. The reason for this is because the main bulk of your circular saw is not blocking your view. Cordless circular left-handed saws provide you better movability.

Do I need a guide rail for circular saw?

If you want to make accurate cuts when using a circular saw and do it consistently, you need a guide rail. With these rails, you can control the blade far much better than when cutting without one. When cutting hard lumber, the blade can move unexpectedly, which can affect the cut accuracy.

Are guide rails universal?

The YouTool Guide Rail is universally suitable for almost all brands of saw, and is available up to 5 meters long.

Why does my circular saw cut crooked?

The nuts and screws that hold the blade of a circular saw can become loose when the saw is used for a long time. The blade may also become misaligned. Tip: If the blade is wobbling because of loose nuts and screws or improper alignment, you should fix it appropriately. A properly fixed blade will not wobble as you cut.

Which side of the line do you cut with a circular saw?
