The numerous videos on YouTube demonstrate the functionality of the pendant if you are interested in seeing a demonstration of its functionality first-hand. I purchased the pendant to replace a Shuttle Pro that I had been using for years to control a Sherline Lathe and Mill CNC conversion that was running on Mach3. The pendant was simple to install, requiring only a few tools. It took me less than 5 minutes to get it up and running. The pendant and access selector knobs, as well as the rotary encoder wheel, are designed in a way that makes them comfortable to hold. A twist to reset design makes the E-Stop switch simple to reach and utilizes a convenient location. The USB cable is more robust than a typical USB cable, and it has good strain relief at the pendant end, so it should perform well in a retail environment, according to the manufacturer. I recommend purchasing the protective boot in addition to the plastic enclosure to provide an additional layer of protection in the event of a fall from the bench. The LCD display is extremely useful, in my opinion. In addition to providing real-time information on axis position and RPM, the LCD can also be used to display pendant setup information. With three different modes for moving an axis, it is simple to achieve precise positioning of an axis. You can even zero an axis and switch between Mach3 screens without having to use the keyboard to accomplish these tasks.
