First, the machine does a great job of sanding, and it does it very well. Really, the LED lights help you see the area you are working in. Unit: It’s easy to put together and to use.
The bad thing is that the built-in vacuum doesn’t work well enough to do anything.
To see, I had to shut down the machine and wait for the dust to fall. All of the holes in the sanding disc were lined up with holes on the pad. I made sure that everything was right. It didn’t do anything. Found that there was a gig of peteoleum jelly inside the computers that connect to each othe. That was put there to make it easier for the adjustable shaft to move around on its own. In this case, there was just one big blob that blocked the whole way. There were parts of the problem that I thought were caused by tha. So I cleaned the majority of it and,spread some around the shaft of the bike. Still a little dirty. This is what I came to: I found out that the vacuum didn’t have enough suction to keep up with the sander. I taped the hose from my shop vac to the unit, and it worked great for a long time.
A little heavy when you move it over your head, but it makes quick work of sanding. I think it’s a good idea, but I’d be careful about the dust it will make.
