A powerful 12 Amp motor and a variable speed trigger make the DWE305 DEWALT Reciprocating Saw a great tool for cutting quickly. It has a 1-1/8-inch stroke length and can cut at up to 2,900 strokes per minute. There isn’t a key to open or close the 4-position blade clamp, so you can quickly change blades in four directions for a variety of jobs, including flush cutting.
In order to cut up my hot tub, I bought this saw. So I bought a recip saw and thought I could cut it into smaller pieces and put it in my regular garbage can over a few weeks. I didn’t want to take it to the dump. Looked strong and well made when I opened the box. Because I can change the blades so quickly and easily, I love that I can do it. As well as, being able to point the blades in four different directions is also very nice. Because it has 12 amps, it can work for a long time without getting too hot. The hot tub I used to have was very easy to cut up. There was no fear when I cut it up. It has rubber feet.
Cutting, there are some things you should keep in mind. Use it to cut down some dead shrubs tomorrow. That shouldn’t be a problem for the Dewalt Recip saw at all. So far, I love the saw. I plan to use it on everything in my house. Pick one up for yourself and make your life a little easier.
