Stupid proprietary battery, why are you doing this. It’s also a substantial piece of equipment. The cordless saw is by far the heaviest in its class. It is approximately the same weight as an SD77. It’s definitely noticeably heavier than my mag77 light, which I had previously. The other point to consider is the delicate balance. Tail-heavy, to be precise. Every other saw has a Mag77 balance, but this one is different and tail heavy due to the battery being located in a different location. The goods have arrived. When compared to other cordless saws, this one has superior power and runtime. What’s so great about it. It’s time to charge your phone. The Makita 36v takes 90 minutes to charge in a tandem charger, the Milwaukee is almost 2 hours on their rapid charger (although they do sell a 1 hour supercharger separately), I haven’t tested the Dewalt or Hilti, and this saw is supposed to charge in 45 minutes, but I haven’t tested it. I haven’t used it nearly enough to deplete the battery to that point.
