It has cordless and connected-ready power. A wall outlet isn’t close by. You might have to work in an area that is small and tight. I think going cordless is a good idea. Corded grinders are usually more powerful, but they make more noise and are less flexible. There has been an update. This isn’t about this transaction but about the company. This was the second Kimo tool that I bought. I like the design and how well it works. However, the hammer drill I bought 10 months ago didn’t work very well. In the past, I haven’t been able to get any warranty service from the company at all. I also reached out to another user I found on the KIMO Facebook page, and that user was also unable to get warranty service, so I did the same thing. If they come through and stand behind their product, I’ll change this to say that I will.
A hammer drill made by Kimo is the second tool I’ve bought from them. The first was their 18-volt drill, which I’ve been very happy with. During my first use of the grinder I made a few videos. So far the tool feels good in the hand and has enough power to handle anything I’ve thrown at it. I’m not a contractor, but I can see how it would hold up to that kind of use.
