If you want to weld, this grinder isn’t very good. If you’re not used to how tungstens should be ground, this tool is great. You will not like it if you are used to welding with tungstens that have been ground to the right size. When tungstens are ground correctly, the “scratches” of the grinding should go to the tip. This is how it should work. In order for welding to work, the grinding must be done in a way that doesn’t swirl around or make rings. It shows two tungstens, one made with a 6 and the other with an 8 “OD Disk and one with a dremel-like diamond wheel that cuts off. With this grinder, the welds made with GTAW are terrible, and there’s no way to compare them. Messy arc, unstable high-frequency starts, a bad “bell curve,” and all the other things you don’t want to see. Don’t buy this grinder, or anything else like it. The seller was great. Neither product nor service is what I said it was.
