Works well, but not as well as expected. This should be the best of the best. Buy more blades. This is a good idea. Did a 15′ by 15′ room and had to use my vibratory trimmer to finish because the Crain blade was charred to a crisp. Design has a few things that bother me. The blade guard is hard to use in any other way than the default. The fence should be covered with some kind of material that won’t leave marks (UHMW would be great). Because the base isn’t level with the blade, you have to be careful when you change the blade height. The dust collection is good for wood, but it doesn’t work at all when cutting masonry. Thank you for making this in the United States. I wish I had tried the 825 before I bought. I thought the 835 redesign was more about saving money than making it better.
