It is no longer necessary to turn half a turn before something moves. a spoonful of gorilla glue was applied to the top of the screw pivot for the bottom slide to hold it in place. I’m not sure what it’s called, but it’s a tight squeeze right now. Before anything moved, there was a complete 180-degree turn. It is now a fantastic vise, and it would have earned five stars if it had come out of the box in the condition it is now.
