Buy DAMO 5 inch Variable Speed Wet Stone Polisher Grinder for Granite Concrete Floor Countertop Polishing Grinding

I’m a contractor, and I needed to polish a granite slab as soon as possible due to a scheduling conflict with a subcontractor. Normally, I would only purchase high-end tools, so I immediately began looking for the Makita, which cost a couple hundred dollars more. However, it was going to take an inordinate amount of time to ship. As a result, I went through all of the cheaper options available on Amazon. There appears to be a lot of junk on this site that has electrical problems. As a result, I chose this one for three reasons. As a primary reason, the ad stated that it was UL Listed, and the posting appeared to be somewhat professional, so hopefully this was an indication of quality. Another important factor was that it was available the next day. Hopefully, if it is true, it will be completely safe.

My order was delivered quickly, and right out of the box, it appeared to be a respectable, budget-friendly tool. Obviously not a Makita, but also not a painful harbor freight grinder, which would be the alternative. It’s nice to have a slow start and variable speed. Yes, the water fittings leak, but so do all of my wet tools when they are first purchased, including high-end brand names. I’ve disassembled the fittings and resealed them with new sealant. It emits no smell or vibration, and it does not smell like the majority of low-cost tools.

So far, there is only one thing that appears to be a potential problem. When the engine is running at a low speed, there is a faint knocking sound from the gearbox. Perhaps a burr has been lodged in the ring and pinion gear, or perhaps there is simply a piece of grit in the gear box. I suppose I could open it up, but it’s really not all that bad. It is possible that it will go away on its own as a result of use.

It will be interesting to see how it holds up over time. Despite the fact that I haven’t finished the job yet, I am pleased with my purchase for the time being. If anything changes, I’ll make sure to update the review.
