Delta has been meeting the needs of the most skilled craftsmen for more than 100 years now. This saw was made to last a long time and be durable. It was made to make you money. It has a huge best-in-class rip capacity of 24 inches and an 18 inch diagonal cut capacity, which is the largest in its class. This fits many 10 inch tile saws on the market. The saw is made of a heavy-duty rail system with 12 bearings that are designed to make very straight, accurate, and smooth cuts. Dual water nozzles can be adjusted to place the water on the blade in the best way possible, avoiding messy over-spray and keeping the blade cool for the best cutting. This saw is built to last. A water pump that can be used in a water tray or a side bucket.

Why does a saw that does the same thing cost three times as much.

As soon as I got the saw and stand, I was disappointed because I remember Delta making heavy, well-built stationary tools. This looked a little less strong than it said it was. I thought the large pieces of granite I was cutting would break this. Then I saw that you could buy it from a box store, not a place that sells power tools. This is what I thought. I thought about how $900 worth of Rigid tools would fail if they were used by people.

Was I right. It made 2.5-inch-by-3-foot strips “When I switched to a Bosch hard material blade, it did even better. I did have to use the plunge cut feature, but that’s not a big deal. It worked out great for me.

Lots of water comes from the easily directed jets on both sides of the cutting blade. It is easy to fold up, deploy, change the blade, and clean. It does what it says it does, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

When the slide went all the way back, it would fall a little when the slide rolled off the rail (2 of 3 rollers on the rail remained). It made the piece of granite move a little bit up and down. I just held it until the motor wasn’t so full, and then I kept going. To cut material, I had to do it this way, and with practice cuts on broken pieces, I learned how to deal with it.

Water didn’t always go back into the tray or slosh around. This was because of the weight and not because of the saw. As long as the pieces aren’t too big, this saw would be an animal. Cut 300′ of wood in a few hours (took that long only because of measuring and for test fitting). In this case, the saw was slow, but it made very clean and straight cuts.

You did a great job, Delta. I would definitely use the machine again ” (Cruzer 10″ with stand).
