Buy DEWALT 15/16-Inch to 2-Inch Finish Nailer Kit (DWFP12231) width="280"

This electric finish nailer has a motor that lasts a long time and doesn’t need to be fixed.

It doesn’t need a tool to change the depth of drive. There are detents to make sure that nail heads are set in the right place.

To get the nail out, you don’t need to use a tool.

Use the rear exhaust to keep the fumes away from work.

Drives 18-gauge nails that are 5/8-inch to 2-inch long.

Having a belt hook that can be adjusted lets you keep your tool close by.

Carrying case and owner’s manual are part of the kit.

Bradley nailer kit in a style that looks like that

The DEWALT DWP12231 18 Gauge 2-inch Brad Nailer can drive 18 Gauge brad nails from 5/8-inch to 2-inch. This makes it great for attaching decorative molding, casing, kitchen crown, and shoe molding, as well as other molding.
DEWALT’s DWFP12231 finish nailer comes with a motor that lasts a long time and doesn’t need to be changed.

Junk.
Failed after three months of very light use.
The piston ring broke, which caused the nailer head to get stuck in the middle of the machine.
When I took it apart, I saw that the piston sealer ring had been cracked and broken when I took it apart.
Before I bought this nailer, a lot of people said it wouldn’t retract, which is exactly what happened to mine.
I will not pay to send it to DeWalt for repair because it has an obvious flaw and one that the manufacturer should have known about because there have been a lot of complaints about the same thing.
It is sad that DeWalt doesn’t back up their promises of reliability and customer service.
If DeWalt is the only option for tools, I won’t choose them right away. Even if it’s the only option, I’ll think about it for a while.
A lot of time went by when I tried to get in touch with customer service. The first three times, it took me more than 45 minutes to get through.
It was the last time I left my number for someone to call, “without giving up my place in line.”
I didn’t get a call back for almost two hours.

UPDATE: The second one of these I bought in the same month as the first one just broke.
I found the same damage when I took it apart.
I tried to contact DeWalt again, but got the same response.
Will not buy DeWalt again.
