Most people have said that this kit is good. I’ll say that again. Great, there’s not much I can say about it. There might be one thing I don’t like about this line of tools. They aren’t brushless. In my opinion, brushless tools are only needed if you use these tools every day for 8 to 10 hours. People who use them for things like fixing their cars, fixing their homes, and having fun with them don’t have to worry about them not working. I have a total of four DeWalt batteries and two chargers, so I can work on my projects all day without having to stop. I can work on them without having to stop.

In this kit, my favorite tool is the driver. It’s great for everything from driving 3″ deck screws to taking the oil pan off my truck. Batteries seem to last a long time in this thing.

The hammer drill is also great. Not much to say about it except that it works. Comfortable to use for a long time. Some times, I can’t get the chuck tight enough for small bits, and I have to keep tightening it. It’s not that big of a deal, and it only happens with bits that are 1/8″ or less.

The sawzall is very good, and I like it very much. In this case, it doesn’t have a 4 way adjustable blade. I don’t need that. When cutting branches off of a tree that fell in my parents back yard, it has been very good at this job. The only thing I don’t like about the saws is that they’re too big.

There is also a circular saw that has been very good for cutting. Can’t cut through plywood or 2x4s like a corded saw, but it’s enough to get the job done for no. This one will eat up the batteries a little faster if you have a dull blade or you’re cutting a lot of thick, hard things. But again, if you’re an above-average home owner, this will be more than enough for any job.

It is a flashlight. When I need more light, I can use this one instead of my 1000 lumen tac lights. Worked well, stands up on its own. There are some other tools in this kit that I’d rather have than the flashlight.

All in all, I love this kit. Use and abuse it for years. As a result, I’ve been a DeWalt fan for more than 20 years. My father has a corded DeWalt drill that has been dropped off a roof several times, the cord has been cut through two times, and it has driven thousands and thousands of 3″ deck screws. This kit is the best thing you can buy. You can’t go wrong with DeWalt, Makita, or Milwaukee.
