I work as a diesel engine technician. I purchased this set after reading a slew of positive reviews on YouTube. Milwaukee’s 1/2 fuel has more power than the 1/2 fuel in the 1/2. These are tools that I use on a daily basis to build engines. Despite its small size, the 1/2 gun packs a powerful punch. I used the gun to remove and reinstall a tractor trailer lug that I had previously removed. When I put a 1″ torque wrench on that lug and set the torque to 600ftlbs, it just clicked, indicating that it was at least 600 ft lbs, which is the maximum torque the torque wrench can produce. The lighting is excellent, and the 3/8 is a formidable weapon. However, I wish the 3/8 was available in a brushless configuration, but this isn’t a major issue. Also, I believe it’s important to mention that I purchased only half of the set from Mac tools, and they are identical, with the batteries being interchangeable. I paid 700 dollars for a Mac 1/2, which included a charger and two batteries. And it’s exactly the same as the Dewalt, except it’s red, so this is definitely a better value!
