In this case, it’s a high-mobile, compact, and lightweight OSHA Table 1 Compliant solution. There is a HEPA filter in the dust extractor.

DEWALT’s dust extractor has 45 percent more space than the DWH302DH dust box, so it can keep up with the user’s needs.

Multiple strap connection points and a belt hook let the user place the dust extractor in the best possible way for their body.

SDS and rotary hammers can be used to drill and chip with this tool.

The 20V MAX* brushless motor helps provide the power and long run time in hard-to-reach places.

WIRELESS TOOL CONTROL lets users link an extractor and a tool so that they can start the extractor from a distance. In addition to the key fob, you can buy one for yourself.

First, this thing does what they say it does. Throw a battery on it, and then press the button. An adapter made out of 3D printing was used to connect the hose to an air speed sensor. The results came out to 23 CFM instead of 19 CFM, which was the manual’s estimate of how much air it could draw. Isn’t it true that it sucks more than what the people say. No points were taken off because it did what it said it would.

Manually, 79dB(A) was the sound level at 1m, but it was 82.5dB(A). This certainly isn’t quiet but it’s quieter than the tools I’m running with it so I’m wearing hearing protection anyway. Another good showing for performing better than the spec in the manual.

The hose fitting provided is a 32mm OD hose with no provision for use with the “AirLock”-style connector found on nearly all new DeWalt tools. As others have noted, despite a wide range of vacuum hose fittings available from DeWalt, none of them appear to be suitable for making this dust collector work with the majority of the DeWalt tool range. In response to this, I went and designed a 3D printed adapter for this hose to lock onto AirLock connectors which is demonstrated in the attached video. If you have a 3D printer you can download that and print yourself up a free solution that makes this collector finally suitable for use with most DeWalt tools.
