I love that I don’t have to bring out the compressor when I need a few nails. This thing drives even long 3″ 16’s really well. As well as a pneumatic gun, but not as well as a real gu. It is, however, very heavy. A few pounds would be nice. I have the dewalt finish gun in 16 ga., and I think that’s about the right size. If you are being safe and using mode #1, which means that the nose must be depressed to turn on the motor, then it takes a second or two for the motor to “spin up” and reach ramming speed. You hold the heavy thing up until it is ready. In the bump fire mode #2, you can keep the trigger down while you poke the work piece to be nailed, which makes it easier but less safe. Even though it’s a lot to carry, I might buy it again if I needed it again because it was so easy. I have a lot of framing guns and compressors, but this one is easy to use and take with you when you need it.
