I bought these to use for metal roofing and siding, so I could use them. The tool is very easy to use, lightweight, and has a lot of power. In this case, they work great if you are cutting straight lines LENGTHWISE and not on the rib. It’s almost impossible to cut across the ribs on metal roofs in a way that goes up and over. It’s also not possible to make a window in the middle of a piece of metal siding. Maybe I used this tool for something it wasn’t meant to do.
