The right angle drill has two speed ranges: (0-650/0-2000) rpm for more flexibility and a wide range of applications.
Users can get into places that are hard to get to because the front to back length (4.0-inch) is small.
The DEWALT angle drill has a multi-grip trigger that makes it easy for the user to get into small places while still being able to reach the trigger.
When you need to get into tight places, you can use this 3/8-inch Ratcheting Chuck with a Deep Hex Pocket to get the 2-inch hex bit in all the way.
If you need a tool that can do a lot of different things, the DCD740C1 20V MAX* Lithium Ion 3/8-inch Right Angle Drill/Driver is great. The multi-trip trigger and small size make it comfortable and easy to get into small places.
Instead of being a product design engineer, I should have worked on making things.
I often find big mistakes in products that are otherwise great.
This drill isn’t any different.
A few things I don’t like about this tool are the LED lights that come with it. I have to look at the tool a lot while I’m using it, which is usually the case for me. Putting a rib around the light or receding the light could have solved this problem. If you want to work in a dark room, you’ll need a light that is very bright and stands out a lot. In this case, I should use a regular drill and not the right-angle drill. You can use the tool without being blinded if you hold it in a certain way. A rubber band was the only way I could defeat the light. Waste of time. To be honest, I only gave it one star because the poor design ruined an otherwise great product.
This will change on June 5, 2019. I found a way to use this drill. So, I bought two small rubber self-stick bumpers and put one on each side of the light. Now, the light only shines forward. You can buy the bumpers at most big hardware or department stores, or you can buy them here on Amazon if you want. This is how it looks now:
