Battery power is the only source of power for this cordless finish nailer. Eliminates the hassle of having to use gas, a compressor, and a hose.

A tool-free selectable trigger that can be used for sequential or contact actuation modes.

For precise countersinking of nails, you don’t need to use a tool.

From 1-1/4 to 2-1/2 inches, the DEWALT DCN660 16 Gauge Angled Finish Nailer drives 16 Gauge angled finish nails. This makes the DEWALT finish nailer great for installing crown molding, casing and base boards. With a DEWALT 20V MAX* Lithium-Ion battery and a brushless motor, the DCN660 is ready to go to work without having to use gas, a compressor, or a hose to get things done. Use a pneumatic tool and a cordless tool to do both big and small jobs. The maximum voltage of the battery when it’s not being used is 20V. In the beginning, there is 18 volts.

Over the weekend, I used it for a project and ran more than 1000 nails through it. The gun worked perfectly. The small 2.0Ah battery was more than enough for the whole project, even though it was small. It sounds loud when you are using it, but when you compare it to a pneumatic nailer, it is a lot more quiet. Also, the nail hole is a lot smaller than my pneumatic nailer of the same gauge, which is good. I like that the nail hole is smaller.

Some other reviews say that nails shoot out of the side of the gun. This is not true. I think this is because people were using this gun with straight nails instead of the angled nails that it needs, which is what caused this.
