This 20V MAX* XR brushless cordless 1/4 sheet variable-speed sander with one 5.0 Ah battery gives you the power and runtime you need for a wide range of projects. A variable-speed dial lets you set the speed between 8,000 and 14,000 OPM for a variety of jobs. When the user wants to collect dust, the sander can be attached to the DWV010 and DWV012 dust collectors with one hand, or the user can attach the sander to the dust collectors (sold separately). Rubber overmold grips make sanding easier and more comfortable. The paper clamp is designed to keep paper in place and to be easy to put in.
I like the power, low noise level, and dust bag. Heavy: It’s a little hard to hold and it’s not very comfortable to hold. Even the rocker switch looks a little messy. A switch that doesn’t have a rubber or plastic cover would be a lot more pleasant to use. Still, it’s a great tool to use when a power cord isn’t close at hand.
