Buy D-Handle DEWALT 20V MAX* XR Rotary Hammer Drill Kit, 1-Inch (DCH133M2)

The cordless hammer drill has 2.6 Joules of impact energy, which makes it easy to drill quickly in hard concrete.

DEWALT’s 20V hammer drill is lightweight, which makes it great for forming and drilling. It’s also great for hanging rods and structural connections, as well as steel stanchion mounting and clip and bracket mounting.

There is no moving parts, so it is very long-lasting. DEWALT’s 20V brushless hammer drill has a German-designed mechanism that makes it run efficiently and last a long time.

Drill, Hammer Drill or Chip mode can be set by turning a dial on the tool.

The 20V MAX* Brushless 1-inch Rotary Hammer is a high-performance drill that has a brushless motor and a durable German-made mechanism. It has 2.6 Joules of impact energy, which is enough to break things. Makes this tool great for forming, hanging rods, making structural connections, attaching beams and columns to the ground, and attaching steel stanchion brackets and clips to the ground. This DEWALT cordless hammer drill has a rotating dial that lets you set the tool to work in a certain way – drill, hammer drill, or chip.

Be careful: This drill is an SDS-Plus. There’s a chance you don’t know what that means, but I didn’t either. It means normal drill bits won’t fit in this drill. It needs special bits with slots in them. When I see that the drill has a switch that lets you go from a hammer drill to just a drill, I think it’s weird. You can’t just use a regular drill bit, and there’s no adapter to do so. According to what I’ve read, they don’t make screwdriver bits that can be used with SDS-Plus. There is only one way to use the drill as a screwdriver: buy an adapter. I found one for about $30.

Having said that, the cool thing about SDS is that it’s very easy to change bits. There are no screws to tighten and you don’t need a key. It’s like they just show up.

If you use the right SDS-Plus Carbide-tip bit with the drill, you can cut through concrete like butter, compared to my old drill and a mason bit.

I use two battery packs that last longer than the two that I use myself. There is also a nice case. I think it’s worth it as long as you know about the SDS-Plus situation.
